Cocaine, Pregnancy & A Rhinoplasty Surgeon

Natasha McElhone, the late Dr. Martin Kelly’s widow is expecting a baby and looks so healthy despite her grief that you can’t help but admire the woman.

Dr. Kelly was considered to be one of the best plastic surgeons in the UK and died a tragic death believed to have been caused due to an onset of a viral infection. He was especially noted for his cosmetic surgery work in reconstructing deformities and in rhinoplasty.

One of the most celebrated nose surgery cases he took on was the cocaine-busted nose of the socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson. The repeated drug use can leave a body with a collapsed septum in the nose.

Dr. Kelly corrected this deformity in Tara’s nose and gave her new nose added definition and support. Despite Tara’s reservations about the nose enhancement surgery, she went ahead and got her nose repaired.

Dr. Kelly, according to his colleague Norman Waterhouse was “a pivotal figure in the world of craniofacial surgery”. Quite a keen loss for the plastic surgery profession, but not more so than what Natasha must be facing.

Here’s hoping she has a smooth pregnancy and finds solace for her grief.
